1.4.10: Well I haven't updated in awhile. My old computer died, so got a new iMac with Snow Leopard. But surprise, Snow Leopard made my scanner useless. Then I discover that the company doesn't make scanners anymore and doesn't release anymore updates. Then Xmas and New Years happened. Then I finally got a new scanner, 11 x 17...ooooo. Makes scanning comic samples extremely easy.

So it's the new year and I'm uploading a 5 page Robin and Oracle sample that I have been sitting on. I am also working on an 8 page Wrecking Crew sample. Plus a million other ideas in the works. Such as trying to do a whole 22 page comic sample, trying to incorporate some of my colored pencil work into my comic samples, and a million more things. So stay tuned!!

8.13.09: Uploaded a storyboard in the Illustration section and a logo in the Design section. Learning Indesign currently and hopefully will have some more comic work up after that.

8.11.09: New updates. I added two sketchbook pics. One is of the Family Guy characters in a different cartoon style. I also added my Zuda comic collaboration with this dude I met at the New York Comic Con. I did all the art so I uploaded that without the lettering because he did that part. I'm going to be starting my own Zuda submission soon as well.

8.3.09: New Comic samples up. I did a 5 page sample for the Oni-Press Talent Search. Now that all I hit all those search deadlines it's time to start working on new samples for next year's comic cons. I downloaded some scripts and hopefully what I've learned in the past few months will improve me. I also have a couple smaller projects to finish up and then I have some digital painting I'd like to try out. I'm going to try and do some of that and then send my samples to Wizards of the Coast. I would love to get hired to draw one of their Magic the Gathering cards.

Other than that I'm still in the market for a full time job. If anyone has any good ideas on who is hiring in CT or MA let me know. Thanks!

7.21.09: Well it's been almost 6 months and the economy doesn't seem to be any better. So if anyone is looking for a Graphic Designer I am still available! Till then I'm still doing comic samples, I just sent my Viper Comics sample to them for their SDCC talent search. I think my perspective is off on these samples, so I'm not so sure on them. But I can't stop, I still got more to do. I have an Oni Press sample to do in the next 3 weeks, so gotta keep going! Feel free to leave me comments or critiques on them. I could always use the feedback.

Oh and my Ninja Tattoo shirt is selling like crazy in my store. It's all because of the G.I.Joe movie coming out. But really, who decided to cast Marlon Wayans as the white irish paratrooper, and then make him a main character. Ugh, awful. Maybe Storm Shadow will gut him! Here's to hoping!

7.2.09: Well I just uploaded some new comic pages for Outlaw Entertainment for their Artist search. There's still at least two more companies I need to do samples for. Since it's Comic Con season everyone in their mother is having talent searches. Let's hope it all goes well.

I also have new t-shirts on the site! An A-Team Van one and a couple others. I also bought my own Snake-Eyes Ninja Tattoo shirt. Looks really good printed.

Saw Transformers 2 as well... let's just say I wasn't really pleased. I wanted some recognizable bots like Hound, Mirage, Wheeljack, Perceptor and all I got were Skids, Mudflap, Devastator's private parts and a ton of generic Decepticons.
Though I will say this, it still blows away the G.I.Joe movie that is coming out soon. They gave them all Iron Man outfits and who decided to cast Marlon Wayans as the Irish paratrooper who was barely a side character. LAME!!! Here's hoping Storm Shadow chops him up!

6.14.09: Working like a fiend on my own stuff. Got some new logos and t-shirts up on the t-shirt shop. There's a new "Manny Who? This is the Bay State" shirt up. Added forums to my site too. I'm hoping to make it a good place to discuss art, webcomics, how to break into regular comics, etc. So feel free to post!

6.9.09: Has it been a month already since my last update?! Well I am currently reworking some t-shirt designs. Some came down and some new ones will be up soon. Trying to make the site more fan friendly, and the t-shirts more appealing to a larger audience. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Oh and I now have enabled comments on my illustration and comic book work. I figure that's the place I need the most feedback.

Don't forget to follow me on twitter! It's a fantastic networking tool!

5.1.09: Link section is up.

4.29.09: Uploaded some new illustrations to the site. Still looking for a regular job as well, open to freelance work in CT too! So send me some emails! Planning on making a link section and a new web comic is in the works with a friend of mine. (He used to write for WWE so that's some cool credentials.)

4.1.09: Hey all, I uploaded two new playmats I did and I have a couple pieces I'm working on that I was hired for. Nothing huge but anything is good at this point. So if anyone needs any artwork, cartoons, comics, sketches, etc. Let me know. I'm currently accepting jobs.

Plus I'm also working on a Zuda comics (which is DC Comics newest online comics stuff) sample with a guy I met at the NYC Comic Con. I'm on page 4, and only 4 to go. That should be done soon. So I'll let you know when we submit it.

And no April Fool's jokes in this news either. I'm not a fan of "funny" or "fake" news stories.

2.25.09: Well the economy finally took it's toll on me. I was a victim of "Reduction in Workforce." But now that leaves me open to explore other opportunities, that includes relocating. So if anyone knows of anywhere in need of Graphic Designers please drop me a line. Especially in Connecticut, Boston, Baltimore, DC, and Philly.

I also uploaded some new custom playmats I had done recently for a couple people, and a comic sample colored in Photoshop.

1.28.09: Well finally finished my comic samples for the Comic Con. I uploaded them all here.

1.26.09: No new work up right now but just my annoucement I'm going to the NYC Comic Con to show my comic work! Wish me luck!

1.22.09: Added some comic book samples to the comic book work section!

1.20.09: Well we have a new president today and I uploaded a new illustration...coincidence? ....Totally.

1.16.09: Uploaded some new illustrations to the album. And it's literally -2 degrees in New England! Where's the Global Warming??!

1.10.09: Well I uploaded some new sketches after the crazy holiday. Hopefully I'll have some more comic pages up soon! Hope everyone had a good Holiday! Now back to work people!

12.22.08: Big Update. They changed the way the photo albums are displayed but now you can view them in a slideshow! Awesome. Now you can leave comments on my sketchbook as well as the guestbook! I took off the Flash intro because it was just annoying to have to see it over and over again. I also uploaded more sketches to the sketchbook! Happy Holidays and I'll be back after the New Year!

12.8.08: Some more sketches were added.

12.5.08: Added some new sketchbook art. Just finshed a couple more comic pages. Will have them scanned and up soon too! Oh yea!

12.4.08: I uploaded the beginning of my sketchbook. It's ideas, different interpretations of characters, etc. This section will grow the quickest so check it often!

12.3.08: First update! I uploaded a couple more comic pages in the comic book work section. Also a sketchbook section is in the works! Whoo and 2 guestbook signatures! Keep em coming!

11.26.08: It's finally here! Kevstees.net is up and running! My artwork is in the albums to your right, the link to the T-shirt shop is active! We even have a guestbook! Now that's it's here be sure to visit often because more stuff will be coming soon!
